Like The Final Hour, though, it's too short. Lockjaw - The beat is great and the MC (Trunks) is more than up-to-par. Take Me To Your Leader - Not much to say about this track. Both Fantastik's and DOOM's voice fit the beat like a glove, and the chemistry between them is oustanding. The beat is a banger and the lyrics from both emcees (Mr. 5/5Īnti-Matter - This is easily the best track on the album. My 4th favorite track on the album only behind The Fine Print, Fazers and the next one. The beat may turn off some at first, but not until they notice that the beat is steadily getting faster the tempo increases from about 60-100, and all three of the emcees ride the beat very well, especially the 3rd guy, Rodan (right before MF DOOM's 2nd verse).

No Snakes Alive - Absolutely amazing track. The emcees on this one all hold their own, but the beat is what'll hold your attention the most. Next Levels - One of the best beats on the album from the moment the jazzy saxophone blares through the speakers, you know that this is gonna be on some jazzy shit.

This is my favorite by far besides the One Smart Nigger skit while at times the dialogue from the movie may get a little boring, the great beat keeps you listening. Monster Zero - This is the first of 3 skits on the album.

The only problem is that it clocks in about 40 seconds long. The Final Hour - MF DOOM spits more fire on this track, and I like the beat. The emcee, Gigan, while not as good as MF DOOM or Kurious, is good enough to hold your attention and offer insight into life on the streets, which while overdone, he does with wit. Krazy World - While I didn't like this track as quickly as I did the first two, it too has become one of my favorites. Biolante/Kurious's lyrics are fire too, sitting on the fine line that runs between thought-inspiring lyrics and sappy philosophical lyrics. Some may be turned off by the rock beat, but in my opinion the beat's one of the best on the album. 5/5įastlane - Another one of my favorites. I can't really think of any way the track could've been improved. A great, mellow beat and great lyrics make a great track. To me, it just augments his memorableness & novelty. After listening to it on repeat for a day, all I can say is why have I been sleeping on this cat's material he has great mic presence and unlike others his monotone voice doesn't get on my nerves.

This is for all intents and purposes the first track I've heard from him, so I didn't know what to expect from him skill-wise. And even the worst guest rappers on this release are pretty decent.įazers - Not surprisingly, the album begins with MF DOOM himself. While the amount of guest artists could've detracted from the release (and in a way they do MF DOOM can rap circles around 90% of them so it's a shame he was only on about 4 of the tracks) but they also add diversity to the release you get a lot of different flows & voices which helps keep the album fresh after every listen. Now though, after owning it for around 3 days and having listened to it the whole way through 8 times, I can say with certainty that this is a stellar album. This is basically my first MF DOOM album (well, more like Monsta Island Czars note all the featured artists) so I came in not really knowing what to expect.
